The 7 Best Chocolate Tours in Zurich

7 tours  ·  ★★★★★★★★★★ 4.6 average  ·  from $22

The Lindt Home of Chocolate is out at Kilchberg on the lake and is a timed museum ticket rather than a tour. The rest of these 7 are walking rounds of the old town chocolatiers, usually four or five stops and a coffee. Prices, walking distances and how much chocolate is actually included, per tour.

“Enjoyed and a great way to visit the lindt home of chocolate. Booked it last minute due to not being able to find tickets. You get first into a bit coach and you get a good drive through the city. The guide give good and interesting information. Next we went to the harbour (could have been skipped 10min stop). Next we had a little walking tour. Really enjoyed it and the guide gave some great recommendations. Then we all boarded the boat and went to the chocolate factory. From there once you are given your tickets, it is free time. So I liked it.”

“There was a short walking tour prior to us taking a boat to get to the Lindt museum. The tour was quick but informative and pointed key attractions in the city centre. Once you’re there you have the option of meeting back up with the guide after, or taking your own form of transportation back into Zurich city centre (they provide you with a 24 hour transit pass).”

“This was a very pricey tour and was not worth it. The tour guide spoke halting English and just walked us through some parts of the Oldtown. Other than the majority of our time inside the Lindt Chocolote Museum and Cruise also on our own as the guide did not accompany us, it was mostly a private driver that picked us as the hotel and dropped us back with an hour and half walk. The tour guide also tried to rush us saying the tour was for only 4 hours and he needed us to come out of the Museum so he can drop us off at the hotel. I…”
